CYCLING THE JURA AND BURGUNDY 2007

Cycling the Jura and Burgundy, September - October 2007

I was in France from September 15, 2007, until October 9. I went by TGV express from Charles de Gaulle Airport, Paris, to Dijon, assembled my bike there and I cycled 14 days (plus 2 rest days) about 600 miles (1000 km) in a clockwise loop. Only the mountains of Le Jura, bordering on Switzerland, are anywhere steep. To the south the region of L'Aine and to the south-west of Dijon the region of Burgundy are rolling country. Look at the green dots on the map to see the places I stayed during the tour.
